It opened last February at Asia Tour ‘persona’ encore performance on the stage that 501-day designated as 1st day of May, the originated day promised to release an album of SS501.

Again, “Don’t find it too puzzling to this choice, keep supporting like you’d always done so right until now. Sincerely. Without regrets to my choice, believe in it that way. Writing my final piece in the homepage” was been written in such a way.

Indeed, Heo YoungSaeng also wrote a piece with the title “Sorry” on the 1st. He wrote, “May 1 is the 501 day by right, we promised to bring about a good album and show to you all, but now, it seems like we can’t keep to that promise anymore. 5 of us are forever as one, shout it out loud like that, not something that couldn’t be stopped about. 5 years have flowed by like this, time really flies, there were really many matters which happened, lots of pleasant memories as well, those moments when we laughed, and cried together, certainly, I’d not be able to forget that in my life. Kara’s been stealing the spotlight with their big Lupincomeback, but we haven’t seen much of their DSP Entertainment fam members SS501 and Rainbow as of late. Fans have nothing to fear, because both groups’ comebacks are in the works, as the famous Korean-American producer Steven Lee recently revealed that he was working on Rainbow & SS501’s new albums!

Steven Lee is definitely a name to mark in your books – he’s a Hollywood-based songwriter-lyricist-publisher-producer (you get the point) powerhouse that’s closely worked with SM Entertainment (TVXQ’s Your Love is All I Need, Super Junior’sLove Disease, f(x)’s Step By Me), Pop-up Entertainment (Wheesung’s Over U,Alone & One Kiss) and Johnny’s Entertainment (KAT-TUN’s Aimaimi Mind, V6’sJustice). As for his works with DSPE, Lee played a hand in multiple SS501 albums, including the popular album REBIRTH.

On his official MySpace page, he posted the following in a blog entry:

I’m also working on DSP Entertainment/Essel Music Pub’s new girl group, ‘Rainbow’ album, and SS501’s new album of course! Japan No.1 boyband KAT-TUN also recorded a new song of mine (my 4th song they recorded and released officially), and many more!

As reported earlier, SS501 will be making their comeback with an album in a little over a month on May 1 (05-01-2010).

It seems like Rainbow’s comeback might just be around the corner as well, as Rainbow’s official site finally opened recently as well. Although the images on the site aren’t new, people are already excited for the girl group’s comeback. With all of the dark-themed concepts as of late, it’d be nice to have a girl group color up the kpop scene soon!

Korean group SS501 not only gaining great sales result for their album. According to Warner Music, in the South Korea ADwaple advertising specialise website ‘2009 South Korea Advertisement Trend gross total’, SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong defeated popular star Lee Min Ho, winning the most popular advertisement endorser.

Kim Hyun Jung won the champion position with 27.1% supportor rate, and was crowned as South Korea Most Popular Advertisement Endorsement Male Star. Lee Min Ho who acted in the Korea version ‘Boys over Flowers’’s Goo Jun Pyo won the 2nd position with a supportor rate of 19.9%. Lee Sheung Ki who acted in ‘Shining Inheritance’ won the 3rd position with 19.6%.

On 27 & 28 February, SS501 will hold their Asia Tour Encore Concert in Seoul Olympic Park’s Gymnastic Stadium. KARA & Rainbow will also participate in the concert to show their friendship.


KARA & Rainbow both feel honoured to be the guest performer of SS501 Encore Concert. KARA will be performing in the MBC Music Core comeback stage for their mini album 'Lupin' on the 27th. After that, KARA will be heading for SS501 concert location. Rainbow will be performing in the 28th concert.

After this, SS501 Persona Asia Tour Concert will come to an end. Currently, SS501 is racing against time to practice for their Encore concert.
